Cleaning for a Reason

If you know any woman currently undergoing Chemo, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning-1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Do A Mitzvah: HELP OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ETHIOPIA Shalom. My husband, an Ethiopian Israeli Jew, and myself, are planning to start a nonprofit school for Jewish children in Ethiopia whose families are awaiting aliyah. It would be a Jewish school, teaching Torah, midos, Jewish history, hebrew, etc. The school would also provide meals. We are currently in the beginning stages, and are still planning, and looking for a building in Ethiopia. We are looking now for donors, and also people who can help in other ways. For example, a website designer, people who know how to start a non-profit, and anyone else with advice or ideas, or any other ways to help. Please help our brethren in Ethiopia. There are many children not getting any Jewish education now, not to mention not enough food. To get to Israel, they first need to stay alive. Do A Mitzvah: Raising Rent for Single Mom I am trying to help a divorced woman with small children pay her rent for the next two months until she is able to return to work. She has been forced out of the home she lived in with her ex husband and has taken an apartment for herself and her children - she is a good, frum woman struggling to keep her dignity and hold her family together. She has no extended family that can help her and is very scared of being forced out of her home and becoming homeless. Please be kind and generous she has helped many in need in her community when she has been able to. She is short $650 dollars this month (August) and has only a few more days to come up with her rent. She has gotten much help from local organizations and feels embarrassed to ask for more help.
