New JCC Youth Basketball Teams Starting Up Boys: 3rd & 4th Grade Team and 5th & 6th Grade Team Girls: 5th - 9th grade Sign-Up Now by Calling the JCC 461-2000!! Represent the JCC in a county wide competitive basketball league. For all levels, a fun league with plenty of excitement. Work on fundamentals and play games to improve skills. The teams will be participating in the Monroe County/Flower City League. Games will be Saturday night (after Shabbat) and/or Sunday (before 1 pm), depending on the preferences of the parents. Parents will also have input on the number of games played during the year. If parents are interested, the teams can be entered into tournaments for more experience. Practices are planned for 2 nights/week depending on schedules (either Mon, Tue, or Thurs between 6-8 pm.) Orlando Rivera and Sam Heard will coach the teams. They are popular with kids and have coached at the JCC for the last 2-3 years. Uniforms provided. The cost is $95 for members and $130 for non members. In order to participate in the League, kids must be registered ASAP so that the JCC can create a team roster (with proof of age) by Nov 15.
