Advice needed about Verizon's FiOS Internet Service This would cost $6.00/month when bundled with my Verizon landline service. However, online research reveals a lot of negative experiences, with both FiOS and Verizon's customer service itself. What I've heard about FiOS: Pros: faster, much lower cost, almost never a dropped signal, Verizon's proprietary wireless router. Cons: poor customer service, several hours' installation, installers not showing up when scheduled and other Verizon administrative mix-ups, post-installation problems with existing phone and TV services. What's your experience? Also: How long does the $6.00 monthly charge last? Will it increase? Is there a minimum time commitment? kalypso... (posted 12/24)
